Christmas Light Installation in Arlee, Montana

Arlee is about 30 minutes north of Missoula on US-93, and we group it onto a north route day with other homes along the highway so installs happen on the same trip.

Arlee sits thirty minutes north of Missoula on US-93, at the south end of the Flathead Reservation where the Jocko Valley opens up under the Mission Mountains. Montana Lights serves Arlee and the surrounding valley the same way we serve Missoula: full service, start to finish. We are owned and operated by Constructive Brothers, a licensed and insured Missoula construction company, and we supply commercial-grade LED lights cut to your roofline, design the layout on a free visit, install and maintain it through the season, and take it down and store it in January. You make no trips to the store and keep no boxes in the garage.

Homes in the Jocko Valley are spread along the river and the side roads off 93, many on acreage with a shop and a windbreak of cottonwoods that have grown tall over the decades. The valley catches wind off the Missions and cold air that settles hard on clear nights, so we clip every socket and use strands rated for sub-zero weather. Closer to town, the houses along the Arlee streets are smaller and simpler, and a single warm-white C9 run with a wreath on the door does the job. Where a house sits far back from the road, we put light on the trees at the driveway so the place can be found in the dark.

Arlee is grouped onto a north route day with other homes along US-93 so crews handle several installs on one trip, and that is what keeps drive time off your quote. Most Arlee homes fall between $900 and $2,500 for a first season, with lower pricing in returning seasons because the strands are already cut and stored with us. Book by October 31 and the Lit by Thanksgiving Guarantee applies. Anything that fails is covered by the 48-Hour Repair Promise. Call (406) 207-2524 to schedule a free design visit.

Lighting Homes in Arlee: What We Plan For

Wind off the Missions

The Jocko Valley is open, and wind comes down off the Mission Mountains with nothing to slow it before it reaches your roofline. Every C9 socket gets its own clip and tree wraps are tied off at the trunk, and garland stays tight to whatever it is mounted on so a windy night does not turn into a repair call.

Long sightlines along 93

Homes visible from US-93 between Evaro Hill and Ravalli are seen by everyone driving between Missoula and the Flathead, and at highway speed only a bright, simple roofline registers. For those houses we spec commercial C9 bulbs spaced evenly along the eave facing the road and keep smaller detail for the side you see from the yard.

Cottonwoods along the Jocko

The cottonwoods along the Jocko River are the tallest things in the valley, and a trunk wrapped in mini lights stands out for a long way across open fields. We wrap from a lift and keep the lights on the trunk and first limbs, with the plug placed where a repair crew can reach it in January.

FAQs

Arlee Questions

Do you install Christmas lights on the Flathead Reservation around Arlee?
Yes. Arlee and the Jocko Valley are part of our regular service area, and we treat homes there like any other: a free design visit, an itemized quote, a route-day install, maintenance all season and takedown in January. If your property has access rules or a locked gate, tell us at booking and we will plan the visit around it. Call and we will get you on the schedule.
How far north of Arlee do you go?
Arlee is the regular north end of our route. We will look at homes a few minutes farther up 93 toward Ravalli when they fit into an existing Arlee route day, and the design visit is free so there is no cost to asking. If a property is beyond what we can schedule reliably, we will say so up front rather than book it and miss the Thanksgiving window.
What happens to the lights after Christmas in Arlee?
We come back in January on a north route day and take everything down, then haul it to our storage in Missoula, where it is labeled to your house. Nothing stays on your roof into spring and nothing goes in your garage. The next fall the same custom-cut strands come back out, which is why a returning season in Arlee costs less than the first one.
