Christmas Light Installation in Lolo, Montana

Lolo is about 15 minutes south of Missoula, close enough that we fit installs into regular Missoula days instead of waiting for a Bitterroot route day.

Lolo is the first stop south of Missoula on our schedule, and at fifteen minutes from the shop it is close enough that we treat it like a Missoula neighborhood. Montana Lights is owned and operated by Constructive Brothers, a licensed and insured Missoula construction company, and we run holiday lighting the same way we run a job site, with a schedule that holds and a finish date we stand behind. We supply commercial-grade LED lights, design the layout on a free visit, install and maintain it through the season, then take everything down in January and store it for you until next year.

Most of the homes we light in Lolo sit along Lolo Creek or on the benches above US-93, and a lot of the owners commute into Missoula every day. That shapes how we work. Design visits happen on evenings or weekends when you are actually home, and installs happen while you are at work, with photos texted to you when the crew is done. Houses in Lolo tend to be larger than in town, with attached shops and long rooflines, plus mature ponderosas along the creek that need a lift to wrap properly. Wind comes down the canyon from Lolo Pass hard enough that we clip every strand rather than relying on hooks alone.

A first season in Lolo usually runs $700 to $2,500 depending on the size of the house and how many trees you want lit, and returning seasons cost less since your strands are already cut and stored with us. Book by October 31 and the Lit by Thanksgiving Guarantee is in writing on your quote. If a run fails in a storm, the 48-Hour Repair Promise gets a crew back out from Missoula within two days. Lighting Homes in Lolo: What We Plan For

Canyon wind off Lolo Pass

The wind that funnels down Highway 12 from Lolo Pass hits the west side of town first and works on anything hung loosely. We fasten C9 strands with a clip on every socket and pull the line tight so it does not slap the fascia all night, and where we can we route wire on the lee side of ridgelines.

Commuter households

Plenty of Lolo homeowners leave for Missoula before seven and get back after dark, which is exactly when they want to see the lights working. We do not need you home for the install. Once the design is approved we set the timers to come on around 4:30 so the house is lit when you pull into the driveway.

Trees along the creek

The cottonwoods and ponderosas along Lolo Creek and Sleeman Gulch are the biggest single feature on many lots, and a wrapped trunk with mini lights up into the first branches does more for the view from the road than the house does. We bring a lift for anything the crew cannot reach safely from a ladder.

FAQs

Lolo Questions

Do you install Christmas lights on homes along Highway 12 west of Lolo?
Yes. We cover the Lolo Creek corridor out Highway 12 toward Lolo Hot Springs, including homes up the side gulches, as long as the driveway is plowed enough to get a truck and trailer in. Those lots are usually heavily treed, so we plan the design around a lit roofline plus a few wrapped trunks near the road rather than trying to light the whole property.
What happens if wind knocks a strand loose in Lolo?
Call or text us and the 48-Hour Repair Promise kicks in: a crew comes back from Missoula within two days. Since Lolo sits on the route to our Bitterroot jobs, our crews pass through often and can usually swing by faster than that. Repairs during the season are included in your price, so there is nothing to approve and no invoice for the fix.
How early should I book for Lolo?
Book by October 31 to get the Lit by Thanksgiving Guarantee. Lolo fills up quickly because it is the closest town to Missoula on our south schedule, and our November calendar is built from whoever has confirmed by the end of October. If you call in November we will still fit you in, but we cannot promise a date before Thanksgiving.
